Concept Design Development

By this time I should have a concept design.  I know where I am going, but I find it kind of difficult to put it down in drawings and sketches. Since the beginning I've been thinking of cocoons and butterflies and I wanted to incorporate the concept of the metamorphosis in my design.
The thing is that Ted Baker's style is kind of classic, sort of 'old English' and what I had in mind was really sleek and smooth - very contemporary.
I still haven't abandoned the whole idea, but I need to find a way to incorporate the modern feel in the design bearing in mind their brand identity.
