For the joy of my little girl, we were taken by my lovely husband to The Deep in Hull.
WOW, such an amazing building! My little girl was in owe of the colorful fish, which yes were really nice, but walking into a cavity was definitely an experience! At the end of the tour I got the little book at the souvenir shop with loads of beautiful pictures and loads of early sketches of the architect. It shows also how the design evolved, the concept and the ideas behind the inspiration which apparently come from a painting called 'The Sea of Ice' by a German painter.

Hull is quite a nice place, for lunch we went at Nandos in one of the many shopping malls, the St. Stephen's, which is got also a very interesting architecture. Inside, suspended in the middle there is a submarine shaped Starbucks cafe'... quite nice.
Anyway, highlight of the day?:
My periperi chicken with mango and lime sauce, grilled sweet corn and a big glass of mango juice ;)
At the end of the day we went to check out another mall as well, the Princess Quay. Very beautiful. But we got there a bit late, so we just saw a little bit of it. To be quite honest, in the malls I was looking for a client to choose. I still haven't decided. Who should I go for? Zara? Diesel? Paul Smith? French Connections? Dunno...
